Ted Video

http://blog.ted.com/2011/03/29/cracking-stuxnet-a-21st-century-cyber-weapon-ralph-langner-on-ted-com/

I viewed the "Cracking Stuxnet a 21 century cyber weapon" video by Ralph Langer on Ted.com. Langer discussed the troubling malicious cyber attacks. He asserted that the Stuxnet cyber weapon is generic. It can be used on practically any system, such as power plant computer systems, computers, uranium plants, train systems, etc. The cyber weapon can be used as a worm to be spread over the Internet.

Langer claims that the malicious Stuxnet virus came from Iran. The targets are The United States, Europe and Japan. The Stuxnet is so dangerous because it can bypass safety systems. It is programmed to work slowly in order to fool operators. By the time a problem is detected, it is too late to make the necessary corrections.

I selected this video because I am interested in cyber forensics. I find it to be very fascination. It is fascinating to me because you can't see it. It quietly destroys computer and programs. I am interested in reading as much as possible about cyber forensics.
